By Greg Perkins The Lady Wildcats improved their non-tournament regular season mark to 6-1 with wins over Mogollon and Hayden last week. On Friday Joseph City took down Mogollon in four games, 25-14, 25-17, 18-25 and 26-24. In that match Krista Edwards led the team with 12 kills, three aces and 17 digs. Amanda Baldwin added two aces and three digs. Taylor Elmer had three kills and three digs. Summer Brown helped with one dig. Katelyn Pugh finished with five kills, an ace and three digs. Chalet Baldwin added a kill, served five aces and had 21 digs. Lindi Gardner had five kills and 24 digs. Shannon Mosier finished with seven kills and 16 digs. The Wildcats gave a similar performance on Saturday against Hayden winning the match in four games, 25-13, 25-20, 15-25 and 25-21. Baldwin finished with two digs. Edwards played well again with 11 kills, an ace and six digs. Elmer tacked on five kills with three digs. Brown chipped in with three digs. Pugh helped with three aces and four digs. Baldwin added two kills, an ace and 18 digs. Gardner finished with two kills, an ace and 15 digs. Mosier added four kills and seven digs. The Wildcats will play at Fort Thomas on Tuesday, Sept. 30.
