Cars from around Arizona and neighboring states will be rolling into town today (Oct. 3) for the 20th annual Winslow Just Cruis’n Car Show. Registration will take place from 1 to 4 p.m., followed by a poker run through Winslow and the surrounding area from 4 to 6 p.m. As the sun sets a cackle fest will take place, followed by a burnout contest. On Saturday the cars will be on display beginning at 8 a.m., lining the streets of historic Route 66 at the Standin’ on the Corner Park in downtown Winslow. Awards wrap up the day at around 3 p.m.
Also taking place today and Saturday is the 11th annual Winslow Material Girls Quilt Guild Quilt Show at Snowdrift Art Space, 120 W. Second St. Quilts will be on display from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Admission is $1 per person.
