After claiming the state team title last season, Holbrook will be sending just two wrestlers to the Division III State Meet scheduled to begin on Thursday, Feb. 12, in Prescott Valley.
Theron Johns and Robert Romo were the only two Roadrunner grapplers to qualify in the top four at the sectional meet held in Winslow last Saturday.
Johns took first place in the 126-lb. weight class, easily dispatching all three of his opponents. He will put his 43-4 individual record on the line as the third seed in his division.
Robert Romo placed third in the sectional meet wrestling at 195 lbs. He went 3-1 at the sectional meet. His overall record of 33-15 seeds him fifth in the 16-wrestler bracket.
