Cooper

Photos courtesy of the Holbrook Animal Shelter Among the animals ready for adoption at the Holbrook Animal Shelter are (left to right) Cooper is a male hound mix with nice markings. He is very scared, but sweet. Daisy is a female small breed mix. She was taken from an abusive situation and is currently in foster care. Milo is a hound/Shepherd mix. He might look familiar as he was at the shelter around Christmas time and walked with the other dogs in the Parade of Lights. Everyone loved this guy, but was glad when his owner claimed him. He keeps getting caught because he can't stay in his yard. Milo is in the slammer yet again for trespassing and his bail is probably too high for his owner to pay. Miss D is a female yellow Lab. She is a year old. Housebroken and crate trained. She is friendly, but a little weary of strangers. Her owner asked for help in finding her a new loving home as she has two dogs this age and their energy level is just too much for her to handle. Please contact the shelter for further information on how to adopt Miss D. Rocky is a male Red Heeler pup approximately 4 months old. This sweet little guy is full of energy. Sheldon is a young male Pit mix. He is currently in foster care in the Valley, but Holbrook Animal Control is still in charge of his adoption. He was rescued by our Animal Control Officer from a neglectful situation, tied to a tree in the freezing temperatures with no food, injured and afraid. He’s been rehabilitated by our officer and is much healthier now. He needs a home with loving people to show him that not all people are bad. He’s got a unique voice and is a small size. He is not aggressive at all toward people or other animals. Trip is a male Shepherd/Lab mix and is already fixed. He is housebroken and good with other dogs. This sweet boy was surrendered by his owner and needs a loving home that is kid free. He doesn’t like kids; they freak him out and so does being at the shelter. The adoption fee is $75 for females and $70 for males, which includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccination and licensing for Holbrook residents. Stop by the shelter at 105 Airport Road today to meet your new best friend.
