Raymond Gohl, 87, entered into rest at his home in Joseph City on Friday, Feb. 27, 2015. A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Winslow Presbyterian Church, 145 Hipkoe Drive.
He was born July 26, 1927, in Hudson, N.Y.
Raymond was in the Army and Merchant Marines, and had been a resident of Arizona since August 1994. He was a member of the Winslow Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Louise A. Gohl; three sons, Raymond L. Gohl, John A. Gohl (Janis) and Brian P. Gohl (Daisy); a daughter, Victoria L. Butler (Ivy); six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond D. Gohl and Harrietta Gohl; two sisters, Luella Gohl and Jean Vansteenburg; and a son, Jerry E. Gohl
Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow was in charge of the arrangements.
