The Arizona Department of Transportation is currently replacing the Five Mile Draw Bridge along State Route 77 north of Snowflake and will be setting new girders for the second half of the bridge Wednesday, May 6.
During this work motorists may experience 30-minute delays.
Also starting May 6, crews will be replacing asphalt on SR 77 (mileposts 367-369 and 371-372) just north of the Five Mile Draw Bridge. The asphalt replacement will take two days to complete and motorists should anticipate delays of approximately 20 minutes in those areas.
Work hours for the girder placement will start at 7:30 a.m. and will end at noon. Work hours for the asphalt replacement will be 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.
The speed limit will be reduced through the construction zone, and drivers are asked to use caution and be alert for construction equipment and personnel. Flaggers will be used to guide vehicles through the work zones.
