The people of Winslow are seeking public support to help them win their own dog park. The Bark For Your Park competition organized by PetSafe will award the city with the most votes $100,000 to build a PetSafe dog park.

The runner-up city in each small, medium and large population category will each win $25,000. The Bark from Your Heart community winner will be the finalist with the highest percentage of votes to the city’s population and will also win $25,000.

Winslow has made it into the finals, but to win it will need everyone to vote online every day through July 22. Winslow is the only Arizona city in the finals and one of just two western cities, the other being Barstow, Calif. The city has offered one acre of land for the dog park should Winslow win the contest.

To cast your vote, visit www.petsafe.net/barkforyourpark/ and go to the Winslow voting page.
