She was born May 12, 1974, in Inglewood, Calif., to Harry and Nancy Carmouche.
Nika was a loving and kind soul.
She attended school in Los Angeles, Calif., where she received a degree in business management. In L.A. she was known as L.L. Martha (and we all knew why).
Nika was her daddy’s lil’ girl. She was always willing to help everyone, always respectful and very family oriented. Nika would make her aunties laugh and took care of her lil’ cousins, who enjoyed her stories of back in the day. She was a blessing in our lives and we thank God for the time we had with her. Her girls were her joy and pain.
Survivors include her babies, Keaunnie and Kelis; mother, Nancy Seale (Henry); father, Harry Carmouche; sister, Charlotte; niece, Antanay; aunties, Lila, Martha, Angie, Arneice, Pricillia, Margaret, Shirley, Patricia, Sin, Ruth, Judy and Elfreda; and uncles Charles, Edward, David, Zach, Chris, Harvey, Jesse, Ronald and Brent.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, L.C. and Lila Thomas, and Edna and Clarence Carmouche; two aunts, Betty Morgan and Katie Carmouche; three uncles, Benny Mayberry, Clarence Carmouche and Terry Carmouche; and a nephew, Marquis Paul Brown.
Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow was in charge of the arrangements.
