Second St. in Winslow for much of the 1950s before relocating to Holbrook, where he opened Chief Joe’s Trading Post. His business was one of the few owned and operated by a Native American entrepreneur. Sekakuku was a Hopi snake dancer and performed at the Grand Canyon before opening his own business.
