The Winslow Bulldog football team faces a tough schedule under first year head coach Brandon Guzman. The Bulldogs will begin their regular season at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, when they play Lake Havasu in the last of seven games in the 2015 Kickoff Classic at the Northern Arizona University Skydome in Flagstaff.
On Friday, Sept. 4, the Bulldogs will journey to Holbrook to meet the Roadrunners. They will be back home on Sept. 11 to entertain the Wickenburg Wranglers for the first game in Emil Nasser Stadium. The Coronado Dons will be new to Winslow’s schedule on Sept. 18 when they host the Bulldogs at Scottsdale.
The Fountain Hills Falcons will come to Winslow on Friday, Sept. 25. A pair of tough road games awaits the Bulldogs in early October. They will journey to Show Low to meet the always formidable Cougars on Oct. 2 and to Payson to meet the Longhorns on Oct. 9.
Back home on Friday, Oct. 16, the Bulldogs will entertain the Page Sand Devils. The team’s playoff hopes will probably be determined by the last two games of the regular season when they travel to Lakeside to meet the always hard to beat Blue Ridge Yellowjackets. The regular season will end with a game in Winslow against their archrivals, the Snowflake Lobos.
