Beverly L. Decoteau passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2015, at her home in Snowflake with her devoted husband of 56 years, Wayne, by her side.
She was born June 25, 1934, in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, to Merrill and Catherine Smith.
In Beverly’s earlier years, her hobbies were teaching tap and ballet, raising her racehorse, and sewing and knitting. She worked at Bell Telephone Canada.
Beverly and Wayne came to the U.S. in 1962. Health issues brought her to Arizona, where she resided most of her life. She had accounting jobs at Meadow Gold and Shamrock Foods.
Beverly and Wayne loved to travel and became full time RV’ers; that lasted over 30 years, traveling all across the U.S. and Canada.
She also leaves behind her daughter, Debbie (James) Franchini of Snowflake; her son, Dwayne (Cindy) Decoteau of Carmichael, Calif.; her brother, Wayne (Jayne) Smith of Cathedral City, Calif.; a niece and nephew, Robbie and Chris; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Frosty, Crystal and Dylan; and five great-grandchildren.
