Gerald Robert “Jerry” Williams of Snowflake went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2016. After an eight-month battle with prostate cancer, he passed away peacefully, surrounded by his best friends and co-workers that he loved most in the world. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 24, at Freeland Manor Quality Care Home, 48 E. First South in Snowflake.
Jerry was born Oct. 24, 1955.
He loved the outdoors, fishing and the beautiful Northwest.
Jerry was baptized Catholic and was proud of his Alaskan Indian heritage.
Jerry was a glazer for 30 years, and recently was the greatest maintenance and security man at Freeland Manor Quality Care Home in Snowflake.
Survivors include his father, Robert Williams of Washington; a daughter of Washington; a sister, Leora Williams-Benoit of Colorado; a brother, Allyn Williams of Washington; and his best friends, Tom and Donna Freeland.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna.
Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor was in charge of the arrangements.
