Another week, another three games in the win column for the Snowflake Lobos.
The trio of wins began on Wednesday in Winslow where the Lobos held off the Bulldogs, 73-66. Jordan Gardner led the way with 25 points. Kurt Wood added 19; Keegan Bjornn, 16; Jake Lyman, 6; Trey Schneider, Ty Pawlick and Dallan Chapman, 2 each; and Tyler Claridge, 1.
On Friday the Lobos had things a bit easier in a 20-point home court win over visiting Page. Gardner again led the team in scoring with 19 points in the 78-58 victory. Bjornn added 15; Wood, 13; Claridge and Lyman, 9 each; Schneider, 6; Chapman, 4; and Pawlick, 3.
A long trip to Kayenta on Saturday ended with a thrilling four-point win over Monument Valley. Snowflake picked up its 21st victory of the season by a score of 77-73. Wood led the way offensively with 23 points. Gardner added 15 with 11 rebounds. Bjornn also had a double double with 14 points and 10 boards. Pawlick and Chapman scored 10 each; Claridge, 3; and Schneider, 2.
On the season the Lobos are now 21-3. Their power point record is 11-2. They will host Tuba City tonight (Jan. 27) and Alchesay on Thursday, Jan. 28, then travel to play Glendale on Friday, Jan. 29. On Tuesday, Feb. 2, they will host Window Rock, then wrap up the regular season by hosting North Canyon on Friday, Feb. 5.
