The Young Single Adults of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints held their inaugural talent show Jan. 18, drawing participants and audience members from Snowflake and Taylor, as well as Flagstaff, Winslow, Joseph City, Holbrook, Woodruff and Show Low. Josh Nicole (right) joined the Debate Club when he was attending Snowflake High School. Because of a disability he was unable to write, so he drew pictures of his cases and won them with his pictures. He told other kids that you could do anything if you put your mind to it. Garrett Gardner (left) and Rachel Lewis (center) wrote a sentence and then Nicole drew a picture so he could repeat their sentence. Other talents ranged from poetry to a guitar solo, piano solos and vocals.
