The annual Snowflake-Taylor Chamber of Commerce Business Recognition & Awards Banquet will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 7, at the Our Lady of the Snow Community Center in Snowflake. Nominees for the awards were announced at the chamber’s Feb. 24 Lunch and Learn.
Nominees for Business Man of the Year are Tim Livingston of Owens Livingston Mortuary, Sam Matyas of The Carriage House and Justin Woodside of Compass Medical Center.
Nominees for Business Woman of the Year are JoAnn Calvin of ACE Hardware, Wendy Hall of the Snowflake Women’s Clinic and Kelly Lara of Promotion Imaging.
Nominees for Large Business of the Year are Arizona Public Service Co., Frontier Communications and Summit Healthcare.
Nominees for Medium Business of the Year are Ed’s IGA, Owens Livingston Mortuary and the White Mountain Independent.
Nominees for Small Business of the Year are Compass Medical Center, High Country Floor Covering and Lawyer’s Title.
Non-Profit of the Year nominees are American Legion Post 126, the Silver Creek Performing Arts Association and Snowflake Head Start.
The Snowflake High School Native American Club will provide dancing and storytelling as the entertainment this year.
