Hosting Snowflake on Tuesday afternoon, the Lady Roadrunners of Holbrook fell by a final of 8-0.
They scattered five hits in the contest, but were never quite able to string those hits together for runs. Kendra Monroe had two of the five hits in three attempts. Alex Jeffers-Sample, Kallee Reidhead and Jadiana Perez each had one hit. Snowflake pitching accounted for eight strikeouts.
Defensively, the Roadrunners gave up eight runs on 10 hits and committed five errors.
With the loss Holbrook falls to 2-4 overall and is are now 1-2 in power point contests. The Roadrunners will host St. Johns today (March 11), welcome in Kingman Academy on Saturday, March 12, and travel to Winslow on Tuesday, March 15.
