He is the son of Perry A. Baldwin and Jesse Shumway Baldwin; husband of Susan Yvonne (Morse) Baldwin; father of Nancy (Wallace) Ruffel, William “Bill” (Sheila) Caldwin and Thomas “Tom (Amy) Baldwin; grandfather “Poppa” to 17, Lindsay (Dustin), Courtney (Michael), Amanda (Jonathan), Adam, Ryan, Patrick, Jacob, Aaron, Brooke, Elizabeth, Emma and Tyler; and great-grandfather to five, Seth, Katarina, Hunter, Chloe and Nolen, who love and cherish him. He has four brothers, two sisters, many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends who will deeply miss him, too.
He was a friend to most people he met, because he saw no one as a stranger. He was a businessman and an entrepreneur for most of his adult life, with partners, friends and employees who still remember him fondly. He was also a true citizen of this area, being involved with the Snowflake/Taylor Chamber of Commerce as a member and a board member, serving the Navajo County Republican Committee board in various capacities and the Silver Creek Senior Center. He also held various positions in the LDS church. He loved to serve all around him.
He was a graduate of Snowflake High School and still kept in touch with many of his classmates. He also went to all the football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, baseball and softball games, and track meets he could when his children and grandchildren played, as well as the many nieces, nephews, cousins and youth he knew and loved. His smiling face and loving heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, his grandson Andrew and his granddaughter Leslie.
