Holbrook City Council members, including (front) Kent Darris, (middle) Mayor Jeff Hill, Charles Haussman, Vice Mayor Cynthia Stuart, (back) Stuart Szink and his wife, Nancy, and Phil Cobb, cheered on Wade Carlisle (not pictured) as he attempted to improve the council’s bowling average. Although they won’t be ready for a league of their own any time soon, the council would likely have received high marks from mediator Lance Decker, who suggested they plan get-togethers such as bowling to help eliminate some of the tension caused by recent controversies. The idea seemed to have worked, as the council members looked like they were enjoying their time together.
