Winslow Election Is Slated Tuesday

March 10th, 2008


Seven candidates are running for three seats on the Winslow City Council, including incumbents Peter Cake and Stephanie Lugo, as well as Tom Chacon, Jimmy Cox, Marsha Juergens, Marshal Losey and Terri Parsons.
    Councilman Robin Boyd, who has served in that post for the past 10 years, and Jim Weldon have filed as mayoral candidates. Mayor Allan Affeldt is not seeking re-election.
    The primary election is scheduled for Tuesday, March 11.
