Candlelight Vigil Is Planned TonightOctober 8th, 2008
North Country HealthCare, in partnership with Arizona Association of Community Health Centers, will be presenting Health Cares about Domestic Violence, an event to honor survivors of domestic violence, at 5 o’clock this evening (Oct. 8) at the Historic Navajo County Courthouse in downtown Holbrook. The program will open with speakers followed by an “Inspiring Hope” candlelight vigil. The evening will also include music and entertainment, messages of hope and inspiration, and community organization booths. Organizers hope that the event will serve as a reminder to everyone that abuse is prevalent and everyone is vulnerable. For more information, call Marlene John at 524-2851, ext. 231.
