Commencement Exercises Will Be Held This Week

    Commencement exercises honoring members of the Class of 2009 at five area high schools are scheduled later this week.
    The Holbrook High School graduation ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 22, at Roadrunner Stadium. Hetal Patel and Michael Guzzo are the valedictorians of the senior class, and Sherah LaBuff is salutatorian.
    The promotion ceremony for Holbrook Junior High School eighth graders will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 21, at Roadrunner Stadium.
    Joseph City High School commencement will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday at the B.G. Bennett Auditorium. Co-Valedictorians are Megan Poudrier and Julianne Hansen. The salutatorian is Eric Aurora.
    The Joseph City Junior High School promotion ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, at the B.G. Bennett Auditorium. Leading the eighth grade class are Co-Valedictorians Alexis Edwards, Natalie Farr and Taylor Hill, and Salutatorian Joel DeWitt.
    Snowflake High School commencement is scheduled at 8 p.m. on Friday at Lobo Stadium.
    Valedictorian of the class is Tiffany Lenhart. The salutatorian is Caitlin Coss.
    Students graduating with highest distinction include Jessica Chee, Tiffany Brimhall, Devin Flake, Joseph Bailey and Cody Wells.
    Students graduating with distinction include Greg Fish, Russell Gardner, Matthew Bloomfield, Chanda Hunt, Jessica L. Johnson, Bryce Palmer, Diana Loya, Louis Flake, Andrew Chesley, Sarah Davis, Lori Shumway and Lacey Wells.
    The Snowflake Junior High School promotion ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. on Friday at Lobo Stadium.
    Northern Arizona Academy in Taylor will hold commencement exercises at 6 p.m. on Thursday at the Northland Pioneer College Performing Arts Center, located at 1611 S. Main St. in Snowflake.
    Northern Arizona Academy in Winslow will hold commencement exercises at 6 p.m. on Friday at the campus, located at 512 Airport Road.
