Truck Fire Causes Delays on I-40

A commercial truck fire caused eastbound Interstate 40 near Winslow to be shut down for a short time Tuesday afternoon at around 12:10 p.m. The fire, which fully engulfed the truck, is believed to have been caused by mechanical problems. The driver was able to safely pull off the roadway and exit the vehicle without injury. The truck was carrying juice.
