Jace Gardner of Snowflake went from heartache to joy at the Navajo County Fair last week, as he lost one animal, but took home the big prize with the other. Jace entered two hogs in the fair, but before competition, his favorite hog died. The next day, his second hog was named the 2009 Grand Champion Market Swine during the 4-H livestock competition.
