Saturday Night Dinner To Help Fund T/S Heritage Foundation

October 21st, 2009

The annual Taylor/Shumway Heritage Foundation Hostess Fund-Raising Dinner will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Taylor Stake Center, located at 309 W. Willow
The theme is Fun Times in Taylor & Shumway from 1878-2009. Fun for Trapper or Gary Hatch was tramping the woods. Fun for Chet and Ida Webb was square dancing the night away. Olive Perkins proba-bly chose a favorite book, while the Carl Cole family gathered around the piano to sing and play instru-ments.
Call   Carmen Shumway at 536-7294 if you would like to come. The suggested donation is $25 a couple or $10 for an individual, but in these economic times, a lesser donation will be appreciated as well. It will be a fun evening, and the proceeds will be used to maintain the foundation’s sites and finance  its activities, as it is receiving less from other sources than it has in the past.
