Fall Colors At The Petrified Forest

The old pumphouse along the Rio Puerco in Petrified Forest National Park is beautifully framed by gnarly old Cottonwood trees in full fall color.  The pump-house was constructed by the Civilian Con-servation Corps in the 1930s, and supplied all of the park’s water needs until about the mid-1990s.
