The Holbrook City Council meeting scheduled at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10, was scheduled to include discussion and possible action regarding the appointment of an interim city manager to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Carlo Pilgrim.
The city has received applications from three candidates who would like to be considered for the position. They include Joseph Jarvis, a co-compliance officer with the City of Winslow, who holds a master’s degree in public administration, former Holbrook police chief DWayne Hartup, and local businessman and former city manager Ray Alley.
Pilgrim will continue in his position until Nov. 30 in order to provide transitional support to the interim city manager. The interim position is for a maximum of six months to allow city officials time to fill the regular position.
Pilgrim has been employed as the city manager since July 2008.
