No Handgun Match Scheduled In March

March 10th, 2008

There will be no Northeastern Arizona PAL Sportsmen’s Association Handgun Match in March.
The next monthly handgun match with categories for pistol and revolver will begin at 8:45 a.m. on Sat-urday, April 12.
You will need three magazines for your pistol and three speed loaders for your revolver, though four of each are much better. You may shoot both revolver and pistol, and both categories are scored separately. The maximum required hits per stage are about 18 to 24. Eye and ear protection are mandatory.
Match fees for members are $5 per gun and for non-members, $8. The association shoots USPSA/IPSC rules. Bring gloves, water, firewood, a snack and a pen. Time and weather permitting, there will be a rifle shoot after the four handgun stages.
For more information, call Larry Maier at (928) 537-1076 or e-mail vernonrose@frontier net.net, or call Frank Lucero (928) 524-4129 or write to him at Northeastern Arizona PAL Sportsmen’s Association, P.O. Box 368, Holbrook, Ariz. 86025.
