Budenholzer May Be Considered By Suns

The Phoenix Suns may be considering Spurs Assistant Coach Mike Budenholzer as a replacement for Mike D’Antoni, according to the San Antonio Express-News. D’Antoni was fired from the Suns’ top coaching spot after the Suns lost to the Spurs in the playoffs this year.
    Budenholzer is Coach Gregg Popovich’s lead assistant, and has been with the Spurs for 14 years, in-cluding 12 on the bench.
    He is a graduate of Holbrook High School and Pomona College, and the son of Vince and Libby Budenholzer of Holbrook.
