Sand Drags Are Scheduled June 6 And 7 In Holbrook

Sand drags will return to the Navajo County Fairgrounds in Holbrook on Friday and Saturday, June 6 and 7.
   The gates will open at 2 p.m. on Friday, followed by test and tune from 5 to 11 p.m. The gates open at 8 a.m. on Saturday, with test and tune slated from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Eliminations start at 2:30 p.m.
   General admission fees are $10 a day or $15 for the weekend for adults; $5 a day or $7 for the weekend for kids aged 6 to 12; and free for kids aged 5 and under.
   Entry fees are $150 for Top Fuel, Alcohol, A/Fuel, Top Eliminator, and Pro 1 and 2; $75 for Pro 3 and 4; $65 for ATV 1,2 and 3; $40 for Sport Car or Sport ATV; $30 for Kids; and $25 for Test and Tune on Friday only.
