Holbrook YFL And Cheer Signups Begin Saturday

Holbrook Youth Football and Cheer signups for the 2008 season will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, June 14, at Safeway; on Saturday, June 28, at Hunt Park, with the time to be announced; from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, July 4, at the Fireman’s Barbecue; and from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, July 12, at Safeway.
   The cost for cheerleaders and football players is $75, with payment options available at registration. All registrants must have a current sports physical by the first day of practice. If your child is registering for the first time, please bring a copy of his or her birth certificate.
   There is a need for volunteer football coaches for the season as well. If you are interested in coaching, please contact Ray McLaws at (928) 241-1227 or Shawn Maestas at (928) 587-2472.
   Also as a reminder, the Arizona High Mountain Football and Cheer Jamboree will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23, at Roadrunner Stadium. Young athletes from all over the Northern Arizona region will be compet-ing in this event. Organizers will be needing volunteers for this event as well.
