Benefit Golf Tourney Is Scheduled July 19

A two-person scramble golf tournament to benefit Holbrook High School basketball will be held on Saturday, July 19, at Holbrook’s Hidden Cove Golf Course. Check-in is slated from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 10.
    The tournament will be flighted, and will be limited to the first 18 teams that sign up and pay the entry fees.
    The $50 per person entry fee includes 18 holes of golf, cart, an enchilada dinner and the opportunity to win many fantastic prizes. Players also have the option to make a $10 small buy in or to buy mulligans at two for $5.
    Hole prizes include $25 for: the longest putt on 1 and 10, 2 and 11, 4 and 13, 5 and 14, 6 and 15, 8 and 17, and 9 and 18; closest to the pin on 3 and 11, and 7 and 16; and the longest drive by an A player and a B player.
    A raffle of a baseball autographed by Arizona Diamondback Jeff Salazar, Phoenix Cardinals prizes and more will also be offered. Tickets are $1 each, $5 for seven or 20 for $10.
