Benefit Golf Tourney Scheduled Saturday

July 3rd, 2008

A fund-raiser golf tournament to benefit Brooklyn Barela and Talaina Fisher will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, at Holbrook’s Hidden Cove Golf Course.
The two Holbrook Junior High School students have been accepted into the People to People World Leadership Forum based on outstanding scholastic merit, civic involvement and leadership potential.
Funds from the tournament will help the girls attend a leadership forum scheduled Sept. 8-14 in Washington, D.C.
The tournament is a three-man scramble, blind draw. The entry fee is $50, with a $20 buy-in per person, and mulligans are two for $10. Lunch and dinner are included in the entry fee.
For more information on the tournament or how to help sponsor these girls, contact Heather at 241-0172 or Linda at 241-2053.
