HHS Spirit Lines Attend Summer Cheer Camp

    The freshman, junior varsity, and varsity Spirit Lines of Holbrook High School attended the United Cheerleading Association Summer Cheer Camp, a two-night, three-day event held this summer in Phoenix. The girls were coached on new cheers, dances and stunting techniques, and it was an overall bonding experience for them.
    The HHS varsity Spirit Line includes Alyssa Bowman, Cindy Cooley, Chelsea Craig, PJ Gabaldon, Sierra Justman, Minerva Martinez, Brooke Nowell, Brionna Searles, Katrina Tafoya and Lisa Webb.
    The junior varsity Spirit Line includes Yesinia Astorga, Vivian Baca,  Shannell Baldonado, Michaela Faust, Karen Hernandez, Riannon Montoya, Maddisen Pate and Savannah White.
    The freshman Spirit Line includes Bethany Baldwin, Toni Craig, Brooke Ferniza, Payton Gonzales, Ashley Jeffers-Sample, Shawna Manygoats, Elizabeth Perry, Kelsey Roundy and Hope Serna.
    The coaching staff includes Mandy McNabb and Stacy Nowell, varsity and junior varsity squads; and Nichole Olson, freshman squad.
    Lisa Webb and Elizabeth Perry were selected as All-Stars at the camp, and were rewarded with the op-portunity to attend exclusive cheerleading events. Elizabeth was selected to perform at the Houston, Texas, Thanksgiving Day Parade. She will be going Nov. 25-28. Lisa was selected to perform at the London, Eng-land, New Year’s Day Parade, and will be gone Dec. 26-Jan. 2. Both girls will be doing a lot of fund-raising to help with their expenses.
