Benefit Golf Tourney Planned October 18

A three-person blind draw scramble golf tournament will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18, at Holbrook’s Hidden Cove Golf Course. Golfers must sign up by 8 a.m., and the tee-off time is 9 a.m.
   The entry fee is $75 per person, and includes green fees, cart, buy-in, two mulligans and lunch.
   Proceeds from the event will help pay Yvonne Shermantine-Phillips’ medical expenses as she battles cancer.
   Tee box sponsors are sought for a minimum donation of $25 per hole. To sponsor one or more tee boxes, call Phillip or Melinda Rose at 241-0737 or 241-0561, or mail your donation to Yvonne Sherman-tine-Phillips, c/o Melinda Rose, 209 Desert View Drive, Holbrook, Ariz. 86025.
   If you would like to donate a potluck dish for the golfers’ lunch, that would also be greatly appreciated.
