Juan Quintana Wins $25 Prize In Weekly Foot-ball Contest

Juan Quintana of Holbrook had the only entry with eight games right in last weekend’s football contest, and he won the $25 prize money. Four contestants had seven games right: Carol Yellowhair of Snowflake, Mary Candelaria of Holbrook, Sam Yellowhair Jr. of Snowflake and Derek Yazzie of Snowflake.
   Here are the scores of the games used in the contest: Stanford 24, Arizona 23; Southern California 28, Arizona State 0; Kansas 30, Colorado 14; Virginia 35, East Carolina 20; Florida 51, Louisiana State 21; Michigan State 37, Northwestern 20; Texas Tech 37, Nebraska 31 (OT); Texas 45, Oklahoma 35; Penn State 48, Wisconsin 7; and South Carolina 24, Kentucky 17.
   The score in the tiebreaker game was Snowflake 32, Alchesay 8.
