The Winslow Bulldogs basketball team will participate in a controlled scrimmage on Friday, Nov. 21, at Sinagua High School in Flagstaff. New head coach Ricky Greer will have a team with solid potential, but one that may be hurt early by the talented players who may well be involved in the football playoffs until nearly time for the season to start. Greer has persuaded former varsity coach Paul Landis to join him as a very talented and valuable assistant.
The regular season will begin with a home game on Tuesday, Nov. 25, against the Hopi Bruins. Virtu-ally all Winslow home games are slated for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff, but may be delayed by the junior varsity games.
