Snowflake Lobos Win Winslow Invitational

    The Lobos again proved they have one of the better track teams in the area on Friday, with the Snowflake boys’ team winning the 17-team Winslow Invitational and the girls placing fourth in the 19-team field.
    In the boys’ division, Snowflake scored 148 team points, easily outdistancing second place Winslow, which had 70.  Show Low finished in third place with 69 points.
    Individual results for the Snowflake boys follow.
    In the 100 meter dash, Matt Reidhead was first, Kyle Lunt was sixth and Jacob Juarez was 15th.
    In the 200 meter dash, Matt Reidhead was first, Kyle Lunt was sixth and Juarez was 22nd.
    In the 400 meter dash, Cody Wells was third, Hunter Peterson was seventh and James McDowell was ninth.  
    In the 800 meter run Cody Wells was second and James McDowell was 18th.  
    In the 1600 meter run, Cody Wells was second.
    In the 300 meter hurdles, Jeff Sanderson was first, Jacob Rawlins was third and Brit Smith was 21st.  
    In the 110 meter hurdles, Jacob Rawlins was first, Jeff Sanderson was second and Kyle Lunt was seventh.  
    Snowflake placed second in the 4x100 meter relay, second in the 4x400 meter relay and 10th in the 4x800 meter relay race.
    In field events, Jeff Sanderson was third in the high jump and Michael Bishop was seventh.  
    In the pole vault, Damian Scott was first and Michael Bishop was 10th.
    In the long jump, Michael Bishop was sixth and Damian Scott was 13th.  
    In the triple jump, Jacob Rawlins was third, James McDowell was fourth and Michael Bishop was ninth.  
    In the shot put, Jordan Hunt was third and Jason McCray was fifth.
    In the discus, Jason McCray was third and Jordan Hunt was 10th.

    In the 100 meter dash, Faythe Duran was eighth, Tiffany Richards was 24th and Emery Martindale was 26th.
    In the 200 meter dash, Samarah Houser was third, Emery Martindale was 37th and Faythe Duran was 38th.
    In the 400 meter run, Faythe Duran was 10th, Alisha Flake was 18th and Ty Craun was 21st.  
    In the 300 meter hurdles, Samarah Houser was third, Carli Stratton was sixth and Brooke Smith was 14th.  
    In the 100 meter hurdles, Tiffany Richards was sixth, Emery Martindale was 10th and Brooke Smith was 12th.
    The Lady Lobos were fifth in the 4x100 meter relay, fourth in the 4x400 meter relay and seventh in the 4x800 meter relay.
    In the high jump, Kim Johnson placed second, Carli Stratton was eighth and Hailey Hatch was ninth.  
    In the pole vault, Kelsey Livingston was 14th.
    In the long jump, Kim Johnson was third, Carli Stratton was ninth and Kelsey Livingston was 14th.  
    In the triple jump, Kim Johnson was fifth, Kelsey Livingston was eighth and Hailey Hatch was ninth.
        The Lobos will compete at the 3A East Regional Meet this weekend to try to qualify for the state meet, which will be held the following weekend.
