Bulldogs Lead Parade On 3A North All Star Team

    The 3A North All Region team included three special awards, four starting position players, two honorable mentions and the Coach of the Year from the regional champion Winslow Bulldogs. Bulldog mentor Art Griffith was selected as the region’s Coach of the Year. Anthony Huerta and Ty Hancock were selected as Offensive Players of the Year, and catcher Levi Smith was named the Defensive Player of the Year.
    Roman Guzman, Wendell Carter, Tommy Gomez and Kraig Shirley were named as first unit players from Winslow. Jevon Estelle and Bubba Cuellar were cited for honorable mention. Of the Winslow players honored, only Guzman will be lost to graduation.
    Players from Holbrook on the starting unit include Cooper Reidhead, Brian Hansen, Marcus Castillo and Illacian Johnson. Only Reidhead is a senior. Honorable mention went to Austin Lozano and Adrian Perkins.
    Window Rock was represented by Josh Billison and Lacey Hickson on the starting team, and Terrance Thompson and David Farman received honorable mention. Only Farman is a senior.
    Monument Valley was represented by Evan Todachine and Jon Delmar on the starting team, and Dustin Speck and Alan Todachine received honorable mention. Evan Todachine and Speck are seniors.
    Chinle had Colin Nez on the starting team, and Brent Jones and Breaden Jones received honorable mention. Only Breaden Jones is a senior.
    Tuba City’s Terrance Huskie and Toby Woody received honorable mention. Huskie is a senior.
    Ganado’s Levi Tsinijinnie and Ty Sam received honorable mention.
