Preview Is Offered Of Roadrunner Schedules

   Looking ahead to next school year, the Arizona Interscholastic Association has realigned some of the regions in regards to which teams the Holbrook Roadrunners, who remain in the 3A North, will be playing.
   In football Holbrook will host Greyhills, Snowflake, Monument Valley, Winslow and Ganado. The Roadrunners will travel to Blue Ridge, Window Rock, Tuba City, Chinle and Chino Valley.
   In volleyball, the Lady Roadrunners will face Payson, Valley Sanders, Blue Ridge, Alchesay, Window Rock, Monument Valley, Chinle, Winslow and Ganado at home. They will be on the road for matches against Show Low, Coconino, Window Rock, Blue Ridge, Greyhills, Winslow, Chinle and Tuba City.
   Both basketball teams will host Snowflake, Window Rock, Blue Ridge, Tuba City, Chinle, Winslow, Monument Valley and Ganado. They will travel to Show Low, Payson, Blue Ridge, Greyhills, Alchesay, Chinle, Window Rock, Valley Sanders and Winslow.   The boys’ team will play tournaments at Eastern Arizona and Round Valley. The girls’ team will play in the Round Valley tournament, as well as the Winslow tournament.
   Baseball and softball schedules have not yet been set.
   As of this time, there will still only be 16 teams in the state field, which will be determined by power points, as well as place of finish within each region.
