Summer Basketball League Features Many Area Teams

    The CellularOne Holbrook Summer Basketball League will be playing games at Muñoz Gym beginning today (June 3) and ending on Wednesday, June 24.
   Boys’ teams will play on Mondays and girls’ teams will take the court on Wednesdays. Action begins at 1 p.m. for the boys and at 12 noon for the girls.
   Teams scheduled to compete in the girls’ division will be Holbrook, Round Valley, Blue Ridge, Joseph City, Ganado, Many Farms, Hopi, Snowflake and St. Michaels. Teams playing in the boys’ division will be Holbrook, Coconino, Joseph City, Blue Ridge, Round Valley, Hopi and St. Michaels.
   Admission for the games will be $2 for adults, $1 for students and free for children under 6. All proceeds will go to help the Holbrook Girls’ Basketball Club.
