Joseph City Sports Practices Are Slated To Begin Monday

    Joseph City Junior and Senior High Schools are preparing for their fall sports seasons.
    JCHS football and volleyball will start mandatory practices on Monday, Aug. 3.
    The JCJHS football and softball teams will also hold their first practices on Aug. 3.
    Students are reminded that a clearance card is needed before they can participate in any activity, and a physical will be required before a clearance card will be issued.
    Athletic information and forms can be picked up between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the JCHS office. The forms are also available on the school district Web site. Clearance cards can also be obtained at the office during those hours.
    The schedule of first practices on Aug. 3 includes: JCHS football, 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.; JCHS volleyball, 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.; JCJHS football, 6:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.; and JCJHS softball, to be determined.
    These are the first day schedules only; full practice schedules will be distributed at these practices.
