SHS Lobos Look Good In Scrimmage With Scouts

    The Lobos did well in their basketball scrimmage with the Window Rock Scouts Nov. 21.  
    “We saw a lot of good things, especially since we have only had just over a week of practice since football season got over with. I felt we did a good job,” said Coach Andy Wood.
    Last season Snowflake posted an overall mark of 13-14 and went 6-4 before losing in the first round of the state tournament to Window Rock.
    This year the Lobos will have six seniors on the floor, including Robbie Martindale, Ray Petersen, Blake Peterson, Tarrin Tanner, Josh Billie and exchange student Yoshiki Imazaki. They will be joined by juniors Michael Bonham, Trevor Reddick, Trent Hall, John Ballard, Bryce Kay, Derrick Flake and Colton Reidhead, and sophomores Jake Shumway and Tanner Yellowhair.
    After playing at Holbrook on Tuesday, the Lobos will travel to Winslow on Dec. 1, then host St. Johns on Dec. 4.
