She was born March 2, 1933, in Prescott to Earl Preston White and Mary Josephine Cunningham. Earlene was a very hard worker and could do almost anything. She worked around Show Low and later moved to Gisela and Jake’s Corner, where she was living when she became ill. She went to a hospital in Phoenix, then to Show Low. Her cousin Debbie Lindall and Dr. Lindall helped her the last few months, and she dearly loved them. She loved her family and friends, and will be missed by all. Survivors include her nephew, D’arcy White; and her stepsister, Velda Hancock. She was preceded in death by her dearly loved son, Dana Earl Lockhart, who passed away 25 years ago at the age of 23; and her younger brother, James Allen “Jim” White.
