Nora Gonzales, 70, died on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, in Lakeside after a lengthy illness. Memorial services were held March 17 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Holbrook.
She was one of 12 children born to Antonio and Candelaria (Jarmillo) Baldonado on Jan. 31, 1938.
She moved to Holbrook in 1945.
On Dec. 21, 1964, she married Paul Gonzales.
Survivors include her husband, Paul; her children, Lorena Valenzula, Julie Arnold, Beatrice Gonzales, Paul Gonzales Jr., Dolores Angus and Toni Gonzales; her brothers and sisters, Carmen, Ovilio, Josie, Vir-ginia, Theresa, Joanne, Louie and Tony; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers; Fermin, Florence, and Benjamin.
Owens Mortuary of Holbrook was in charge of the arrangements.
