Charlotte Ann Jones

March 25th, 2008

Charlotte Ann Boyle Jones, 70, was surrounded by her family when she died on Friday, March 14, 2008, after a rough battle with cancer. Funeral services were held March 19 at the Lehi Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment was at the Mesa City Cemetery.
Ann was born on Aug. 2, 1937, in Mesa to Elmer and Alice (Shill) Boyle.
She was a loving mother, companion and friend.
She was a faithful member of the LDS church, and an inspiration to those she lived and worked with.
Ann was a dedicated mother, and graduated from Mesa City College of Nursing in 1988. She started and ended her nursing career at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix. She was a gifted nurse, working primarily in pediatrics, and later home health care.
In April 1998, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and was forced into retirement. By the grace of God, she made a miraculous recovery, and spent the next 10 years as an LDS temple worker in the Mesa and Snowflake temples. Ann will be sorely missed.
Survivors include her six children, Jeffery, Bevan, Thomas and Sarah Jones, Carrie Mitten and Jennie Yehuda; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The family has requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 2724 E. Lakin, Suite 9, Flagstaff, Ariz. 86004.
Owens Mortuary of Show Low was in charge of the arrangements.
