Floyd D. Clodfelder

Floyd D. “Pete” Clodfelder, 81, of Pinetop died on Friday, March 14, 2008, at RTA Hospice in Lakeside. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, at Mountain Pines Baptist Church, located at 1838-B W. Commerce Drive off Porter Mountain Road in Lakeside. A second service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 11, at the Shelby Funeral Home in Covington, Ind., with internment to follow.
    Pete was born April 4, 1926, at Covington, Ind., the son of Howard and Verdie (Sprouls) Clodfelder.  
    He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, and had worked as a truck driver for Ryder-Pie, retiring in 1985.  
    He was a life member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1001 in Danville, Ill., Veterans of Foreign Wars Lodge 3318 in Attica, Ind., and the Wolf Creek Golf Club in Danville.
    Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Deloris of Pinetop; two daughters, Diane (Dan) Wilson of Lake-side and Dalena (Ron) Miller of Ankeny, Iowa; a son, Michael (Gayle) Clodfelder of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren and a step-grandson, Dean (Marilynn), John, Jim, Erica and Derek (Jessica); and a stepgreat-grandson, Sean.
