Simonne De Prins

    Simonne V. De Prins, 74, of Snowflake passed away on Monday, March 2, 2009. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, at Valley View Southern Baptist Church, located at 1212 S. Main St. in Snowflake.
   She was born March 8, 1934, in Wilrijk/Antwerp, Belgium, Europe.
   Simonne left Europe in 1959 to begin a new life with her future husband in Chicago, Ill. She and her husband retired in 1997 and moved to Arizona.
   Her sweet and caring ways will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
   Survivors include her husband, Armand; and her son, Harry (Nanci).
   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Simonne’s name to the Arizona Animal Welfare League, 30 N. 40th Place, Phoenix, Ariz. 85034, or the Nature Conservancy, 1331 H Street NW, Suite 400, Washington, D.C. 20005-4734.
   Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low is in charge of the arrangements.
