Julie Ann Carruth

    Julie Ann Carruth, 44, of Taylor passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2009, near Show Low. Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock this morning (June 19) at Grace Church in Show Low, with Pastor Jon Boegl officiating.  Burial will follow at Show Low Cemetery.
    She was born July 4, 1964, at Elgin, Ill., the daughter of Gordon and Mickie (Bonebrake) Parrish.  She came to Show Low at age 6, where she attended school.
    Following school, she lived in Phoenix for 15 years, where she worked in the child care industry.  She returned to Show Low two years ago and had recently moved to Taylor. She was working as an associate at Wal-Mart.  
    She enjoyed yard sales, crafts, jewelry and her only grandson, Dylan.
     She was a member of the North Hills Lutheran Church in Phoenix.
    Survivors include her mother, Mickie Parrish of Show Low; her father, Gordon Parrish of Chandler; a daughter, Jessica Springfield and husband Charles of Phoenix; a son, Jake Carruth of Taylor; two sisters, Candice Hancock of Clay Springs and Robin Brumage of Pinetop; a brother, Rich Parrish of El Mirage; and a grandson, Dylan Carruth of Phoenix.
    Black’s Mortuary of Show Low is in charge of the arrangements.
