Kaylenzo HollinsJune 26th, 2009
Kaylenzo Hollins was born into this life on December 18, 1954, in McNary to the late Mr. Willie Hollins Sr. and Mrs. Rosie Lee Hollins of Holbrook. The sun set one final time for him on June 18, where he went quietly with the Lord at the home of his daughter in Tempe, Arizona. During his final moments Kaylenzo was surrounded by lots of love and family, including his only child and daughter Devyn Hollins, his fiancée Veronica Duran, one of his seven brothers Jesse Ray Hollins, and his grandson LaKeiveon Lewis. In 1955, Kaylenzo along with his loving parents and seven siblings moved from McNary, to Holbrook. Kaylenzo attended Holbrook public schools and graduated from Holbrook High School in 1973. After graduation Kaylenzo met Robin Hansen and their union produced a beautiful baby girl, Devyn Ann Hollins, who was the apple of her daddy’s eye. After a long courtship Kaylenzo married Alice Mallette of Winslow, and with their two daughters, Devyn Ann and Audrey, they relocated to Tempe. While in Tempe, Kaylenzo was employed for six years with the Kyrene School District. Kaylenzo wanted to return to school so he attended ITT Business College where he graduated and received a degree in computer management. Kaylenzo, along with his parents and family, was extremely proud of his accomplishment. Due to health reasons he returned home to Holbrook where he remained until three weeks before his departure from this earth. Kaylenzo recently rededicated his life to the Lord where he was a member of St. Johns Baptist Church. Kaylenzo enjoyed fellowshipping with his church family and friends. He was very well known among his peers and according to them was fun to be around. Kaylenzo did not hesitate to help when called upon by family and friends.
