Melva Shaw

    Melva R. (Morgan) Shaw, 65, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, in Flagstaff. Graveside services were held Aug. 14, at Jeddito Community Cemetery, with Rev. Al Campsen officiating.
   She was born Dec. 28, 1943, in Rosebud, S.D.
   Melva lived in Jeddito for more than 40 years.
   She was first married to Larry Morgan, and they had six children, Grace Morgan of Jeddito, Jackie Morgan of Jeddito, Karen Clinton of Winslow, Fillmore Morgan of Albuquerque, N.M., Farrell Morgan of Querino Canyon and Laurel Morgan of Jeddito; 28 grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Clifford Whiteeyes of South Dakota.
   She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jackie Morgan; her husband, Larry Morgan; one brother; many sisters; her mother, Florence Whitehollowhorn; and her father, Rufus Cloudman.
   Greer’s Mortuary of Winslow was in charge of the arrangements.
